This day in 1933 the German Reichtag had already passed the Enabling Act which gave Hitler personally the right to pass any law unhindered even by the constitution. It was already game over for any possible german opposition.I don't think the US is quite there yet, is it?

@Strandjunker as a German, I have to say that this already progressed beyond 1933 level. There are already camps. There is a police force loyal to Trump. There are attacks on multiple fronts.

@Strandjunker People will eventually say they were against all of this, but right now I believe the majority are generally in favor of the general thrust of what's happening - even if they object to some particulars.
I lost all faith in my fellow Americans, so I got myself and my family out. It's better than being sent to the camps, when that comes around.

But in order for that to happen, some of them would need proper education beforehand in those things called schools to at least grasp a glimpse of the magnitude of what's happening in their country right now and the implications that come along with it...
