I've always found the catcall line "do those legs go all the way up" too surreal to be upsetting. It's supposed to be vulgar and sexist but instead it raises all of these questions about geometry and what legs even are... are legs vectors? If they "go up" do they also go down?
When I think about legs that go all the way I think about sea spiders.
@futurebird They go all the way up to 11?

@futurebird Indeed, my legs can continue to move up until they clip through each other above my head and cause weird Havok glitches.

@futurebird perhaps they become more… complex, the further up you go. feet are real. hips are not real and can’t hurt me
But hips can lie...

@futurebird hips don’t lie algebra??

@thejessiekirk @futurebird I'm picturing a paper doll overlaid onto a pair of point-down scissors, where the head is at the hinge and the handles are the continuation of the legs that go all the way up.

essential singularities in your area ... and within a small delta of *every* area if we are honest about it.

@spiegelmama ... gonna need a diagram and maybe some hand puppets to get that one.

We joked about a woman opening her gown to show that yes, her legs go all the way to her neck.
Then she runs away in long graceful strides.And then Family Guy did the same joke 3 months later.

@futurebird something something projective geometry something too. If one’s legs are parallel is there nevertheless a point at infinity at which they meet?

Honestly didn't realise it was a thing until I saw the Family Guy clips, which made a really weird and absurd joke of it...
