Was just thinking about the birds being dinosaurs when we walked past a singing blackbird tonight.

@IbenChristiane @BogWitch Yeah, I am leaning toward that too. Maybe Spielberg thought that would be too terrifying after all.
@nerdd @IbenChristiane @BogWitch - and instead he chose the "Freight train made of teeth" noise, which to be fair was also a good decision

I have seen a drawing of what looked like a large, round sparrow.
A second drawing revealed that this was a T rex with a fluffy coat of feathers that turned his outline into something like a sparrow.

@davidtheeviloverlord @nerdd @BogWitch I love that. Fiercest killer wrapped in cute!

Was just thinking about the birds being dinosaurs when we walked past a singing blackbird tonight.
But why is no one asking the important questions:
Did the dinosaurs who lived millions of years ago also have lovely singing voices?
🦖@BogWitch crocodilians are not dinosaurs per se but I love the call of alligator bulls this time of year. it's both chilling and thrilling at the same time especially when there are several going at once.

🦖@BogWitch or did they sound like peacocks and hadedas and ravens

@jwcph @IbenChristiane @BogWitch Yes! It definitely works perfectly fine

@BogWitch It's the time of year when our back yard is home to a ton of seagulls, and every morning at sunrise I'm started awake by what I'm sure is the screeching of pterosaurs.
@fanden I quite line the mental image of the backyard pteradactyls. Mama 'dactyl descending on the raucous chicks with a prime piece of discarded kebab

@batterpunts cool link. Thank you.

🦖@BogWitch the worst thing is that pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs so you have to be specific on what you want to have heard sing.
I'm guessing they were very loud though

@IbenChristiane @nerdd @BogWitch actual dinosaur choir: https://dino.courtney-brown.net/

This is how a 10 times supersized black bird would sound, a plausible dinosaur.
(First comes the normal bird, then the dinosaur.) -

(First comes the normal bird, then the dinosaur.)@ard_the_rich That was fun! And somehow perfect with your singing bear avatar in the middle of the audio player

It was just having a bit of a sing. This is the saddest possible thing I could have seen before bed time.
I am so sorry.
