#pixelcat is so good. Such a shame it was abandoned... #pixeldroid isn't as good with mastodon/gts accounts, unfortunately.

Just to be clear, you're wanting to use Mastodon through a Pixelfed app? Is there some specific reason for this?

I would like to navigate with a #pixelfed-like interface without having to create a pixelfed account and start following a lot of accounts and all the hassle.
I don't see a reason for a separate account only for that, mastodon is already capable of posting images, sending DMs, etc.
if I could just have a different frontend for doing it, that would be amazing!
Pixelcat app does it, but the development stopped.

@FediTips sometimes I just want to navigate memes videos/images and friend's pictures in an interface that is more convenient for those formats on a mobile screen.
Also it is a lot better for posting images: #Pixeldroid, for instance, has some cool filters baked in the app. Just click the icon for 'new post' and it opens a camera with lots of cool options.

If you were on iOS I'd suggest trying Impressia, not sure what else to suggest on Android if you've tried Pixeldroid
I assume you've tried the official Pixelfed app?
