Two more of my posts were removed. they didn't contain insults, slurs or anything like that. I just expressed my opinion, calmly, without aggressing anyone. Freedom? Liberty? No, absolutely not for everyone.
More and more I think it's time to change instance.
#Mastodon@menelion Wait, what? I'm a moderator of this instance, and I didn't touch your posts, and don't see any recent resolved or open reports against you.

@menelion Still waiting. All I see you doing is fear mongering about violating a rule to one of the replies, but not actually replying to the moderation of the instance, which is telling you nothing happened.

@TheQuinbox I could dig in the mail, but to be honest, it would most probably provoke a political discussion.

@menelion No no, please do. I'm not here to argue politics with you, I'm here to make dragonscave a safe and welcoming place for people, and I sure didn't warn you or delete any of your posts recently, and from looking at the mod dashboard no one else did, and it wasn't discussed in the moderation discord. Are you sure it was your instance, and not another one who got a report one of their users sent but maybe didn't forward?

@TheQuinbox Quinn, I also want to make it sorted, and I want you to know I respect you personally very much. I'll be honest, I don't know how ActivityPub works, so my question is: might I have received a warning and a mail about someone deleting my posts from *another* instance federated to Dragon's cave? Like, they deleted my post from their local timeline, issued a moderation warning, it was federated and I received it, can it be so?

@menelion The feeling is mutual, I respect you on a personal level, even if we disagree about some things. To be completely honest I'm not 100% certain, I know that remote instances can delete your post from their local timeline or suspend you from interacting with their instance, and that they can even stop federating with an instance entirely. I also know that when a user reports a post, it goes by default only to their instance admins, not to the admins of the instance the person is on; you have to check a box to opt into that. I don't see anything in the report logs about you, so I'm guessing they didn't. The one part I do not know is if they can send you emails, that seems...a bit weird? What was the sender? DragonsCave emails should be pretty destinctive. If you like, you can forward it to me, trypsynth at gmail dot company, and I can look

@TheQuinbox The problem is that I was stupid enough and deleted them forever in POP3 (yes, it's a super old box of mine) and I can't find them anymore. the only thing I have is a notification in TweeseCake (Fedra would show it also, I think) that I got a moderation warning. But again, why would you lie to me and why would I lie to you? Absolute nonsense.

@menelion @TheQuinbox Omg, this is very weird, what I will suggest as let's try to post that again and see what happened and log everything that happens. I don't know this is just a hunch, it could be an automated trigger based on keyword or something.

@FediTips does masto hosts or services can automatically flag posts based on keyword auto triggers and give moderation warning or ban users? -

Servers are independent, there's no way for other servers to delete posts from your server. Other servers might block someone, but it wouldn't affect the original post on your server.
There are a couple of things that might make posts disappear:
One possibility is if the server's content retention period isn't blank, more info at https://fedi.tips/mastodon-admins-leave-the-content-cache-retention-period-blank
Another is if the user has switched on auto-delete for their posts, more info at https://fedi.tips/deleting-posts-automatically-in-mastodon-after-a-certain-time-period/
