My 7-year old, cleaning the playroom with me: Do we have a hot glue gun?
    Me: Yes… why?
Him: if we glue every object to another object then it’s half as many things to clean up

@caroline Please tell me you responded by pointing out that the total volume of things would be the same.

@caroline technically if you glue every object to another object that's only one object at the end. Though it may be a bit difficult to put away 🤔

@SRLevine @caroline What matters for cleaning is surface area, though, so it’s still an improvement.

@viq @caroline At that point, by virtue of it being all of the objects and therefore belonging all of the places, it is automatically already put away where it is.

@viq @caroline depends entirely on whether you're looping over the mutable list of all objects in the room or presorting and looping over a list of pairs of objects.

@iris @caroline or you get, literally, linked list 😉
(To me, given 1 2 3 4, "every object to another object" results in 1-2-3-4. Unless I sit and overanalyze)
