Ukraine's spirit is the founding spirit of Europe.

In the days leading up to its 35th Independence Day, we stand resolutely with Ukraine.

Today and for as long as it takes.

      @EUCommission

Ukraine has the founding spirit of Europe?

Have you been beated in the head or simply you think we are idiots?

@EUCommission Why not take diplomatic action and seek peace? We stand with Ukraine, but it is the Ukrainian mothers who are not seeing their children return home.

If Ukraine stops fighting, Ukraine ends (at least in any democratic form)
If Russia stops fighting, the war ends.

Go sell your idea in Moscow, report back when they're in (they just excluded the only anti-war party from the upcoming election so it may be a while)

Just to make sure... They are the ones literally dragging men from their families arms and grabbed in the streets, forcing them into unmarked vans, to send to the so called "frontlines", never to be seen again, in a conflict started by decades of demonization and provocation, right?..
Just wanna understand the full picture of this insanity thats going on..

Tell me again who landed paratroopers in the airport next to Kyiv?

Why are you putty frontlines in quotation marks? It's an unusual typographic choice.

"Spirit of Europe" ...hope not all Europe/EU.

I don't think that usual UA or RU citizen have even any konowlage about that...
But RU citizens should learn about Hlodomor and UA citizens should learn about Massacres at Volhynia and Estern Galicia.
And not from the UA/RU historians.

Right now both countries (UA and RU) are proud of the monsters who did that terrible things and treat them as "heroes".

The Ukrainian people have fought a long and difficult battle to move from Soviet communism towards a functioning democracy. They've kept fighting against repression and corruption both foreign and domestic, even when odds looked hopeless.

I'm not really sure what the founding spirit of Europe menas, but if that's it I'll take it.

@notsoloud @EUCommission Ukraine is the black pit where the money, and with it, the future of Europe falls.

And if they're fighting against domestic repression and corruption, they're clearly losing the battle.

Ask yourself how is it possible that Europe keeps funding a country that destroyed its basic energy infrastructure.

There's ups and downs in the fight against corruption and repression. Fedorovs dismissal was a setback. The appointment of Drapatyi and the dismissals of Yermak and Mindich look like progress. Either way you have to admire a population that keeps up street protests in between missile strikes. Not sure we could manage that in the "west".

As for the last paragraph, I agree that Russia has destroyed Ukraine's basic infrastructure.

I also agree that is seems impossible that we're still funding Russia. I really think we should wean ourselves off buying their stuff.

That's what you were referring to, right?
