I must admit, I find most log photos look a bit staged, and the poor log itself is often awkward and reluctant to really express itself.
By going into its home setting, you've really put this one at ease and and captured its true logness. A masterpiece.

I probaly caught on because over in B.C., my home province, log houses are popular, thankfully they are a more spacious and provide more shelter than this one.
@TrueNorthSpice This one has a sea view, though. The most expensive log-house real estate. I think this log is a member of the logigarchy.

@Nickiquote I did not know there was a log song. I am pleased to know this. When I saw the log house, I thought: So this is where the Log Lady lives. I wanted to add a photo of the Log Lady from Twin Peaks here, but to my surprise there is no photo of her on Wikimedia Commons and no photo at all of the actress on her Wikipedia page. This makes her even more curious to me.
