SO is it not possible to have #Signal on a secondary Android Device, via the "linked" device functionality as per the desktop clients?

Dusting off an old tablet before I travel, and was surprised I couldn't do that with the official signal app?
Maybe there is a third party #android client which supports this, someone could recommend?

the #MollyFOSS fork supposedly allows for linking more devices.otherwise, #signaldesktop in #debian #proot in #termux?
or use a #e2ee messenger that doesn't limit multiple accounts or linking, like #deltachat.

i'm using the #multivnc for the desktop apps i run in #termux. mostly #inkscape. but #signaldesktop should work.or last resort: link with signal-cli and read the messages in the terminal. super hacky.
