@Rastal @paninid my thoughts on it are alternating between this and that a number of adults may only be able to see the way out of the current system for an individual as being particularly successful at operating within that system by means of goals/obsession.

@paninid I feel, that comes from a time, where there was some obvious positive reputation connected to a job. And you kept it for life. Most of that is gone - the reputation as well as the long perspektive.

@Reinald @paninid Yes, you used to have a decent life from your job alone, and provide for the whole family, and even own a house. But that was only the post-war era. Then oligarchs decided that they needed more money, and the working class would be the ones providing it. And here we are. ‍️
