got way less done on day -2 than I had planned to, but what's new?

stayed up until (looks up) 1:30AM just to do the *bujo* to clear my mind about what I have to do. as usual, just bujoing it is a big relief. something about the act of pen on paper clears up thought.
however I'm counting some 42 tasks to finish before my trip and since I only have 1 day left and most of the tasks take at least half an hour, it's kinda hopeless. well I'll just make do and finish what I can and travel with some urgent stuff delayed a week until I'm back. like every time lol

heads up Berlin mates, this *might* involve a situation where I'll have to sacrifice a previously agreed upon vacation day (Thursday), because of course the terminal in question happens to exploding in Berlin exactly when I'm there because servers are attention divas and can't hold back when a sysadmin is nearby. if that happens I do get one extra day after the holiday in compensation. sorry to my potential date if this happens, hopefully it's just a matter of updating the firmware for some custom hardware and it will be over quick. what could possibly go wrong

not only I was not provided with the firmware until the end of the workday, but I was also not provided with confirmation on whether I'll have to update it live in Berlin or not.
so at this rate I'll be forced to pack my work laptop during my trip (when I'm already struggling for backpack space), without knowing whether I'll even need to use it
