day -1 to my adventure trip!! started the day well at least—woke up, did qigong, crossed like 4 items out of my 42-item TODO list. but now I crashed a little bit and I have to catch a bounce because there's wage labour to do
me: no, brain, we are not going to take another look at learning lockpicking. we don't have money for one, and also we have a 42-item TODO list where the deadline is today

heads up Berlin mates, this *might* involve a situation where I'll have to sacrifice a previously agreed upon vacation day (Thursday), because of course the terminal in question happens to exploding in Berlin exactly when I'm there because servers are attention divas and can't hold back when a sysadmin is nearby. if that happens I do get one extra day after the holiday in compensation. sorry to my potential date if this happens, hopefully it's just a matter of updating the firmware for some custom hardware and it will be over quick. what could possibly go wrong

not only I was not provided with the firmware until the end of the workday, but I was also not provided with confirmation on whether I'll have to update it live in Berlin or not.
so at this rate I'll be forced to pack my work laptop during my trip (when I'm already struggling for backpack space), without knowing whether I'll even need to use it
