    @michelestrider i have a feeling, albeit empirical, that it is things going to hell that bring billionaires, like culture-eating moths to the fires of societal failure.

      @michelestrider Intrinsically true. But I'd track back further still: hell goes active the second we believe that fake kindness deserves our financial support.
      Denominations simply become arbitrary after that.

                @michelestrider as soon as it becomes just about making money, it sucks. i don't know why people don't see this. they ruin everything, but people are like, 'this is the best system ever ... it can never be changed.'
