if it's dead pigs or cows on the BBQ from The People's Slaughterhouse, then the forgotten prolerariat, in the prisons called farms, is just as oppressed.

no justice and equality without plantbased burgers.

Skipping right over that "the pursuit of communism has led to actual cannibalism", I see.

oh no, i'm 100% with you on that one. instances of #cannibalism were widespread during cultural revolution in china. the book "red dust" details that.

just pointing out that when human mammals are eating the #flesh of our fellow #mammals then it is about as close to cannibalism as it gets.

and neither supporters of capitalist #democracy nor #communism appear to have any intention to stop the flesh eating.

That's painting with a pretty broad brush. I certainly am an omnivore, and I don't see any fundamental ethical problem with that, but plenty of people disagree; some of them capitalists, some communists, some supporters of democracy, etc.

if you're real #omnivore, and don't see any ethical problem in eating whatever is edible, what's your issue with #cannibalism then?

          the taste?

            That's not the case.

you think it's wrong when omnivores include human flesh in their diet, so you follow a more restricted diet for ethical reasons, or what?

I think it's wrong when pretty much anyone includes human flesh in their diet. I'm willing to make an exception for extreme situations that do not involve murder, such as extreme survival situations where people died of other causes and the cannibalism in question was the only alternative to starvation.

»taste« is often used by omnivores to justify eating the flesh of others (when they're not in an extreme survival situation).

you don't consider taste a good enough reason to eat someone, when you have the option not to, or what?

it just doesn't sound very #omnivore to me to not only exclude tasty sources of protein from your own diet but to go so far as to judge others for their choice of diet.
