oh my god; I went looking for examples of art by George Barr, and found a cropped artist photo that I extremely wanted to see more of, and: wow the full view does NOT disappoint

@RavenWorks Ohhhh, Xxxenophile. Not surprised.

@RavenWorks Ngl the more I think about this the more fascinated I am. This is like, proof that furries and furry-adjacent themes really are older than the internet.

@RavenWorks thinking of you @orzel

(also see more posts in this thread)

@colinstu oh my! Oh yeah, that's right up my alley. Thanks for that one

[ksanaroth@derg.social]

@RavenWorks@yiff.life my goodness, thats some rad art, no bias at all but the lizard o.o

[mym@toot.cat]

@RavenWorks image description says that's Kathy Sanders, presumably the 2015 International Costumer's Guild Lifetime Achievement Award recipient https://www.costume.org/lifetime/sanders.html

[phantomkitty@furries.club]

@spottyfox @RavenWorks I am having a mental parse error with this comment. What does the picture of someone cosplaying one of the artist's paintings have to do with the Phil Foglio adult comic book series?

[spottyfox@pounced-on.me]

@phantomkitty @RavenWorks Board game Geek indicated he'd worked on it. I thought that's where I recognized the art style from

[phantomkitty@furries.club]

@spottyfox @RavenWorks Ah, thanks. The link to the BoardGameGeek site in the original post came back as dead (image not available), so I did not see the comments associated with it.

[ravenworks@yiff.life]

@mym Oh wow, I saw the name, but wasn't able to find any relevant search results for it; thank you for the context!
