@kim_harding Yeah, without batteries it really bites. Even if batteries are only 60% efficient on a watts in vs watts out model, that is over £400 billion in lost energy.

@tbhdk Jeg krydser fingre! Jeg oplevede det en overgang, men jeg fandt ud af, at jeg havde sat indstillingerne forkert, så den ikke kunne downloade opdateringer under visse omstændigheder. Jeg har selvfølgelig glemt hvad jeg gjorde, men det var mere end et sted, jeg skulle rette noget. Det var dels noget med om jeg var på wifi eller mobildata, men det var også noget med grænser på størrelsen af downloads, som jeg husker det. Jeg sad og testede forskelligt, og så virkede det, og har virket siden.

@jbz thanks. Interesting to read about the Punkt minimalist 4g MP02, (just calls, text oldschool clickphone, with hotspot. I could rock just that paired with an e-ink-android-tablet-something alongside it.) seems like such a cool gadget((yet another))). Based purely on most recent talk/activity/hype, the most mature of the options seem to be the murena, the volla, and hopefully the jolla.
