@robtheruntthe list of all the vegan places is quite small, like 2MB, so the we just send the entire list to everyone who looks at the map.however, i think the #overpassapi query is heavy, so for now the server admin is manually updating it about once per month, to be polite.if for some reason you need to demo a fully up-to-date version, feel free to just self-host it. it's light, because i programmed it on my old #android phone using #termux, so you can self-host from phone too.the only dependency is curl, and any web server, like:python3 -m http.servermap code is here:https://codeberg.org/pelle/angrypig
