@evan Yes, because a significant portion of all the communications in the fediverse are oriented toward this network's own relative impact and potential in the wider social technologies. It is much more self-reflective than users on social media and many fediverse users are here because they want change. My but is that "political movement" doesn't mean that it necessarily maps onto any neat existing categories (like the American liberal/conservative or British left/right).
