@AndrzejWasowski for me, the primary reason to not go to the US is not safety but principle. I will not support a fascist regime by normalizing it. And I would be normalizing it if I continued to come for teaching and research purposes, as I have done for years.The lack of safety simply confirms that my decision was the right one.
