The 'scan' part won't even mean try to replicate or even scan the entirety of your mind. Just skim some IP, a password, or training data if they can, or, more likely, just make a good enough looking attempt before feeding you to the shredder.
It seems optimistic that they'll wait to figure anything out, more like as soon as they think they can get away with it, they'll pulp as many folks as suits them -- see Musk et al

Yes, this is important to understand. The type of people who do these kinds of things literally do not have the part of the human brain that the rest of have that stops us when we realize we're doing harm to others. They do not care about humanity or anything else beyond their own existence.
It's not hyperbole to say that literally nothing is off the table if there is gain in it for them, it is only a question of whether or not they have the means and if they can get away with it.
