Yes, our town libraries are privately owned =\ so that's a whole thing. But I have a county library card as well and it's a large wealthy county so I feel like it should offer more of these. -

There are lots of places to post fliers. My library has racks right by the front door for that sort of thing. And there are places that have bulletin boards where you can post flyers, too!

Some parts of some towns are also fairly tolerant of posting on lampposts and such, especially college towns. -

@tehstu barely related..if your library has Kanopy, one of the free (no tickets) borrows my husband and I both really liked was Grass...

#libraries@mtechman I agree, but also note that Libby (owned by for-profit OverDrive) charges per-book licensing fees to your library, and those fees are more expensive than buying physical books. Just saying for your awareness.
