crazy conspiracy theory of the week:
the actual reason #Google wants to block installing of apps that have not "verified author" in #Android is so you can't install #NewPipe and similar to watch #YouTube without ads, they don't allow NewPipe in #GooglePlay and are probably very upset by 3rd party stores allowing it
