    It is good that government is looking into the AI connections to the #TumblerRidge shooting. Sam Altman is meeting with Minister Soloman today, and Premier Eby tomorrow. But if they are only concerned about them notifying authorities when there is concerning behaviour, then they are missing the most important point.

    What is ChatGPT or LLM-of-choice *saying* to these people? How is it *influencing* them? The LLM companies can and do control what responses the LLM gives to users.

    Those responses must be regulated to ensure the safety of the user and our society.

      @chris @josie_osborne @votetanille @avilewis

      This is an important point.

      Do we know if they have shared that with anyone?

          I want personal liability for the owners of these companies when their beasts go rogue. Your AI makes child pornography? You get child porn charges and a nice little registration on the offenders list.

          Your AI talks someone into harming themselves or anyone else? You're going to regret not having put up those restrictions.

              @chris @josie_osborne @votetanille @avilewis

              Pet owners are responsible for their pets who cause harm.

              Parents are finally being charged (and convicted) for giving their kids weapons when they go on to commit mass shootings.

              It is time to get rid of the corporate exemptions. You make MONEY off this? You are going to jail.

                @AnnieBuddy @chris @josie_osborne @votetanille @avilewis your AI denies coverage because it's "elective", but it wasn't and the patient died, you should be charged with malpractice. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MEDICINE Works.

                    @AnnieBuddy @chris @josie_osborne @votetanille @avilewis "bUt It WiLl sTiFlE pRoGrEsS" GREAT. Maybe not being able to release your horrible creation to the world as soon as you can will give you some valuable time to consider that the relentless pace of capitalism might be BAD.

                      Indeed ... let's rethink the limits on those Limited Liability Companies.
