I finally received my #fairphone with #eos on it. I want to see how far I can get it usable for my daily life, without a Google account.
The App Lounge allows me to download apps from the Google Play Store. Nice, but I'm not sure if this breaches the privacy friendliness of the phone and OS.
Anybody have pointers?

#privacy #sovereigntech@semanticfire /e/os has good privacy, including a tracker blocker, see the advanced privacy module in the settings. And you don't have google play services, which is good for privacy too. That said, it is still wise to consider which apps you want
