I have no followers yet, so not sure where this will go, but here I am.
I’m a CS student, daily driving Linux, and exploring Mastodon.
Confused by all these servers and settings, but let’s see how long it takes me to get comfortable here

Welcome!Follow LOTS of people RANDOMLY or your timeline is dead. Get to at least a hundred. Then unfollow later when it gets too busy.
There are also starter packs with people to follow but I never tried those.
