It’s perfectly possible to keep two thoughts in one’s head at the same time: it would be an unfathomable crime for the US to invade Greenland, and Denmark is a colonial power who should not exercise power over Greenland.

@anneapplebaum you know, I saw how it unfolded in Russia. I remember Putin's sweet songs about democracy and shared values - he had very good speech writers. For a very long time, he tried to maintain a solid image.
Now it's so bizarre seeing how blatantly inadequate Trump is, how fast he is moving, and how little people seem to care.

Unless the other Nobel Prices the selection for the Nobel Peace Price is done by a Norwegian committee, the award ceremony is held in Oslo, Norway
