I am trying to figure out how to improve running uphill (and down), both faster and more economical.
What I understood so far is that low cadence will demand more muscle power while high cadence more “heart” power. I also read here and there that 90 spm might be the magic number.
When I check the numbers on my last 10 weeks runs, I run with high cadence (higher than 90).
Any recommendations or word of advice from more experience runners on running uphill?

I'm curious about your numbers.
Could the 90 spm you mention be cadence (so half your spm?)

@folfdk Yes, sorry. I think they meant 180.
