Over 50000 people marched in "The large climate demonstration" in central Stockholm today. The back of the crowd didn't even begin to move until two hours after the start of the march. After an additional two hours, the back of the crowd reached the final destination. By then, we had been standing or marching for about four and a half hours.
This is back to the amount of people marching in climate protests before the pandemic, or perhaps even more.

@ahltorp and as usual, Swedish state television subtly downplayed this by saying "tens of thousands" of people marched.

@eobet It's even worse. They said "thousands", both in the live reporting and in the regular 19:30 news program. In the later news programs, they didn't cover it at all.

@ahltorp oh, really? That means they reduced it from the 18:00 airing which I watched. Second propagandized editorial change (that I know of) in just a few weeks then...

@eobet The field reporter says "thousands", but that part is cut in the 18:00 airing, and instead the studio reporter says "tens of thousands". In the 19:30 airing, the field reporter's voice is used.
