    Risk, knowledge, and understanding are intimately related.

    If you lack the latter two, that is o.k.

    Unless you think you are then also missing the first one.

    In that case it is called dumb.

          Looks like Palantir may have fallen into the Streisand trap;

          in seeking their right to reply (under Swiss media law) via the courts, they have drawn a lot more attention to two articles (based on Freedom of Information requests) that reveal why the Swiss state refused to do a deal with Palantir for some military software; they were worried data would be obtained by the US Govt.

          Now a story, originally limited to the Swiss is gaining traction across Europe; oops.

                @ChrisMayLA6 the real story is the Swiss were not corrupted, whereas the British government gave Palantir a number of sweetheart contracts without even competitive bidding.

                In a twist you couldn’t make up if you tried, the head of Palantir UK is Louis Mosley, grandson of Oswald Mosley, founder of the British Union of Fascists.

                @fazalmajid @ChrisMayLA6 And Louis Mosley is the cousin of Jed Mosley, star of the movie The Wedding Bride: https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Jed_Mosely

                    Is Labour in too deep to escape from the takeover by U.S. techno fascists? The fascist cults MAGA and Reform already believe they’ve won. I reckon they are too few and the feedback from their inflation, purges, illegal arrests, assassinations, genocides, ecocide and wars will be a rude awakening. The people of the U.S. and the U.K. will rise up; greedy loser cowards hell bent on trashing Earth will be defeated! #FreedomFromFascists

                      @spdrnl @KimSJ @ChrisMayLA6 at one point, we can only blame ourself for being so stupid. Palantir is certainly a worst case scenario but MoD data should be dealt internally, full stop. Yep that may not be the cheapest at first. But it is certainly the only safe option if things go sour.

                                  @ChrisMayLA6 The irony of Palantir a company built on 'intelligence' accidentally boosting the exact story they wanted to bury is just perfect. It’s a classic Streisand effect. Honestly, it’s refreshing to see Swiss authorities actually drawing a line at data sovereignty. If they’re worried about US government access, it makes you wonder just how deep those hooks really go. Thanks for sharing this, definitely a 'grab the popcorn' moment for tech policy.

                                    in seeking their right to reply (under Swiss media law) via the courts, they have drawn a lot more attention to two articles (based on Freedom of Information requests) that reveal why the Swiss state refused to do a deal with Palantir for some military software; they were worried data would be obtained by the US Govt.

                                    Now a story, originally limited to the Swiss is gaining traction across Europe; oops.

                                        Delicious. Every single bit of staff that I’ve seen associated with that company is certifiable or really suggests they might be.

                                        More Perfect Union interviewed an employee that quit and what he had to say about working there wasn’t settling. I think one of the reasons why he left.

                                        I certainly hope people are finally over and done with the epstein class, especially when they froth at the mouth around surveillance and killing people
