    It seems like we've placed ourselves in a situation where we simply cannot trust digital tech enough to use it for things as mission-critical as infrastructure.

    Bascially, before we commit (again) to fundamentally digitalizing essential services etc., we have to untangle IT from the broligarchy & find out how to keep it that way.

    It just isn't feasible that societal infrastructure can get rug-pulled by a single arbitrary business decision anywhere in the value chain.

      @jwcph
      The only companies that do active security updates are Tesla and Rivian. On my Tesla I've seen over the air updates that were only for security.

        @Eka_FOOF_A I wouldn't trust a Tesla any further than I can throw it.
