Warning for Mastodon instance adminsOver the past few days, I’ve been noticing a wave of coordinated bot registrations. These accounts typically have AI-generated avatars, English names, and sign up using suspicious domains (.click, .work, tmail.mx, etc.) and similar IP ranges.
Behavior: they boost random posts to appear legitimate, but have 0 followers and no real activity.
Recommendation: enable manual approval for new registrations if you haven’t already. -

Čeho se obávám víc, je budoucí velké množství sofistikovaných AI profilů, které se těžko rozeznají od skutečných lidí. Na jeden takový AI účet tady nedávno někdo upozorňoval. Prý do všeho kecá, klade otázky a odpovídá, a sám i zveřejňuje občas příspěvky. Jeho tvůrce mu i předvyplnil profil a připnul něco nahoru, aby to dělalo co nejreálnější dojem. Pokud jich vznikne hodně, tak se máme na co těšit, to si asi zvykneme ukecané nebo nesympatické účty brzo blokovat
