@relaystation Follow hashtags rather than persons, especially the first period. It's the easiest way to find interesting accounts.

@relaystation hi welcome to the fediverse. Many folks do an #introduction post talking about their interests helping them connect with those that share their interests. Hashtags are a great tool, you can follow hashtags like you follow accounts. @FediTips also has suggestions for getting the most out of Mastodon.
