@cabel I tried the Temu app once, years ago, before I knew what it was. I opened the app, saw ads like this (maybe slightly less extreme a few years ago), and immediately thought "this must be a scam" and un-installed it.

From what I know it is a huge company that sells all kinds of cheap bad quality stuff. Accessories, kitchen tools, rugs. The company is really unhinged in everything they do, the ads and app often look like it is some joke. The more you learn about it, the weirder it gets
