@thibaultmol @UkeleleEric @eden @Blender So, legally speaking (EU tax laws vary, but seem to converge on this), *donations* cannot be based on reciprocity. A public statement thanking the donor is about as far as it can go, or the recipient is in hot water tax wise.
*Sponsorship* is not tax exempt, and can therefore include all the reciprocity the two parties can think of.
So whereas e.g. FOSDEM treats things one way, it does not follow that any other sponsorship has to follow the same rules.

No matter how it's "worded", this should be declined and Antropic be told to… to put it politely to just go away. So if Palantir comes waving with money, you'd accept that as well?

@keeya this applies to most large corporate dev fund members. We take donations to pursue Blender's mission. Individual donations is what helps to keep the balance.
