So the AI business “model” is:
1. NOT HIRING
juniors to create human candidates for the specialists & experts with work experience.
2. BURNING OUT
️ mid-level engineers, hardware (prices rising), infrastructure consumed unsustainably (water & electricity) to make everyone “addicted” to AI-LLM word & sentence calculator.
3. PUSHING OUT
experienced senior-level engineers who advise & set tech strategy for “the business”.This is the “Kodak” & “Boeing” business downfall case studies combined.

Isn't there Stage 4, where they hire back a bunch of 'junior devs' to actually WRITE code, to 'get around' the LLM tokens nonsense?!
@bytebro looks like your stage 4 is happening - https://mastodon.social/@dahukanna/117030443611389404
Don’t accept low-ball offers as they made their “mess”, let them pay for it to be “unmessed”. -

@dahukanna I saw a video last night which said that AI means we can get junior engineers contributing faster. Was an interesting perspective!
(I am just sharing this perspective, not advocating for it, or defending it).
This is the video, most of his perspective made me depressed!

@dahukanna thank you for helping me to immediately avoid any sentimentality about kodak in the future

@dahukanna I can’t wait for this business model to crash - but I’m really sorry for all the workers who get run over on the way.
