@newsguyusa Predatory behavior that even casinos aren’t allowed to do.
All signs from the Washington Post is that Jeff Bezos has in fact got his dick caught in a big fat wringer.

@darryl_ramm @mattblaze @newsguyusa the instructions were unclear and the fan was right there.

@mattblaze @newsguyusa Sooo, if I have a hot dog stand without a posted price list and Bezos orders one with onions, can I charge him $10,000,000.00 ?
Then sue when he balks? I already handed it to him, I can't sell it to anyone else. It's a fair price based on his data. -

@newsguyusa I don't like this idea for a national paper, but I have to admit a lower price for out-of-state subscribers of a smaller paper would be appealing. (Of course, that's still not at the *personal* level.)
I wonder what @jeffjarvis thinks?

@newsguyusa it seems that taxes should work based on the same principle: the more money you’ve got, the more you pay.

@newsguyusa I don't see this for "supposed" national newspapers, but then again, WaPo ended their position as a serious news organization some time ago. I certainly do not intend to subscribe again ever - unless they have a change in ownership and management and a big mea culpa and a promise to be fearless and truthful. Not holding my breath.

@newsguyusa there it is, China's social credit system in action. As soon as china started that system, our overlords started working on making it global

@newsguyusa
I applied my own algorithm based on how valuable WaPo is to me this year, and the value has gone down. Since we can't agree, bye -

Maybe my algorithm shows how much I despise the WAPO. Guess my non -existent rates will skyrocket now, eh? -

@newsguyusa @AnnaAnthro The #price of a #subscription should be going down since #Bozo fired so many #journalists.
It’s a lesser product than it was before.
Bozo #Bezos wants to charge more for less? WTF?
Hard pass. I’m going with the #SeattleTimes instead.

Another good reason to stop reading the WaPoop. Changing the terms of service at will, charging individually-priced subscription fees based on a fucking algorithm? Fuck Jeff Bezos and the clowns still working for the WaPoop.
