i shouldn’t have to say i give a fiddler’s fart about the backlash. if this is what it takes for #USMIL personnel to get radicalized and refuse orders, then so be it.
but it is important to note how, THE CRUELTY IS THE POINT OF #FASCISM, is not a cliché; but an accurate description of their worldview and raison d’être.

@blogdiva twenty years ago, a friend was in army basic and — I think it was actually an ICE agent — came onto the base to arrest a guy just back from the sandbox.
Friend disarmed the agent and had him at gunpoint. Explained that he’s from LA and some of his best friends were Mexicans.
The actual soldier on watch said if he moved, shoot him. Base got put on lockdown.
I think some phone calls were made and it resolved without bloodshed or the soldier being taken by ICE.
