@CatDragon @benroyce @retech yes and that's how we got partially in this mess as well because of complacency in local elections, small elections, elections that no one was really looking at because they only think on the big scale and insidious things are happening in our small towns & small cities just as much as on the national level
@spreadthetruth @benroyce I can tell you that in a lot of small towns (I live in one, and was an elected official here for 16 years) there are people who really, really care, struggle to reach the voters, and are doing their best to make the world (and their town) a better place.

I've been in customer service in our family owned business since I've been nine. You cannot please all the people all the time as much as you want to But someone has to try it's never easy but I'm not ready to roll over and give up for the country and the people that I love.We can do better together

I was already very political when MLK and RFK were killed. My ex wife was in the hotel as a 15 year old volunteer on RFK's campaign. I just missed the draft. Went to Vietnam and Cambodia in 2005.

You're on. . Tho I doubt I'll get that far south if I did I'd flippin' melt. But that's ok, I got a couple of bottles of Ilegal Mezcal for xmas. One is in hiding for after midterms the other for '28. Something about positive thinking. .
To add to your "We Warned You" if you take apart their platform what they were trying to do was rebuild the economy of the time between WWII & 70's. Add the 5 bills the GOP trashed & we wouldn't have to beg for our dinner.

in states where you can vote in primaries outside your party, i encourage such sabotage and vandalism. but this is a sideshow. the main game should be declare your party and contribute

@roknrol @mikelovesbikes @benroyce @retech In #wyoming if we are unaffiliated, we literally have nothing but potential ballot issues to vote for in the August primary. If we wish to vote in the August primary, we MUST declare our party by May 18th. We are not allowed to switch parties after the May deadline. We can vote for anyone in the General. Our Secretary of State is a diehard MAGAt and legislature is controlled by Freedom Caucus. We R screwed!
