@Tutanota Almost 100% free of Meta and Microsoft. The most difficult is Google, since I'm an Android user. Unfortunately, we don't yet have a 100% ready and reliable alternative solution, but I believe in the potential of open-source technologies for this someday. The path of decentralization is beautiful and promising.

@Tutanota In my personal life the only difficult one is the first. Mainly for the creative content in YT and because transitioning to another mail address seems complicate for many reasons.
The other two were easy and done years ago. (Made easier by the fact that I always refused to join Whattsapp, and never really liked FB, X, any Microsoft products etc. I recognise my privilege!)In my professional life I have no choice but to use MS and other big commercial products and that is infuriating.

@Tutanota I only have an Google and MS Account, but not signed in to any of my devices directly.
MS is still needed to play Minecraft and Forza Horizon. My Google Account is for purchased apps from google play (I'm installing these with the Aurora Store).

grapheneos on my pixel 10 pro. i have a dormant gmail account that i created years ago when you could get away with no name, phone number, etc. i think about getting rid of it but can't help but think it still be useful.
cachyos as my daily driver. planning on creating a dual boot with void linux. i have a "just in case" windows 11 partition on my laptop. though all i really do with it these days is boot in to it every 3/4 months to make sure its still functional and update it -

Separate phone number and only people that don't have something elseCan't fully quit Microsoft because of games with kernel level anti cheat and Minecraft. (Whyyyy did you sell to MS, Notch)
Google I am like 98% there, just kinda don't want to delete the accounts and still get some stuff from the play store.

@Tutanota For music production, de-microsoft ist unfortunately still rather difficult. Most commercial providers of high quality virtual instruments are still not interested in supporting formats that work in Linux.

Meta: I never had WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook
Google: Does Invidious count? Or using their YouTube API to fetch video details and downloading the videos with ytdl-core?
Microsoft: No Windows in years. Only Minecraft left. Next concern: Microsoft wanted to buy Discord and now Discord CEO is a former CEO of Activision Blizzard (Microsoft), so could be harder to avoid Microsoft later
