@davidgerard It's not just in Debian, it's part of the moreutils package, which is available in many distros/repos.
@ilmari @davidgerard moreutils, of sponge(1) fame? that moreutils? Wow I hardly even considered it would have other tools, which seems silly in retrospect. But really sponge is both indispensable and a scathing indictment of the whole concept of bash pipes.

@davidgerard While I think you’re absolutely right in calling this out, they have named releases Manning, Floyd and Friday for Future, too. Which one might count against the extremism/dog whistling theory. I’d assume good faith and tone deafness.
