I had to fact-check this. I thought it was a meme. But. It. Just. Happened.
He's trying to make an analogy I think, comparing the pen to something, but as usual he gets sidetracked because he realizes there's an opportunity to tell a story about himself so he switches over to that, but then realizes he has to find a way to bring it back to whatever point he was trying to make with his analogy.
Plus his brain is basically soup at this point.

@piggo @stux Actually it is and the 25th amendment gives the Vice-President and Cabinet the ability to remove a president for reasons of mental incapacity. Trump is not in any way a sane and ration man capable of discharging the enormous duties of the US presidency. He should be removed from office.
@Infoseepage @piggo @stux Even if they are thinking about using the 25th Amendment, they would most likely wait until early next year: if Vance becomes president after the half-way mark of Trump's term, he can hold the office for two terms after that. Otherwise he just gets just one term.
