@MoonDrifter post a bit about yourself as an introduction or in your profile. Some people won't follow you without that information. Be friendly, also be promiscuous in who you follow, you can block, mute or unfollow anyone later. And, if you post video or photos, alt text is most appreciated, describe as best you can what is there, and those with slow connections and visually-impaired people will thank you.

@jon This is one of the reasons why I am a big Vivaldi fan - starting the vivaldi.net Mastodon instance was a very good move

Thanks. Clearly our goal is to support Mastodon and the Fediverse as much as possible. We see this as a clear alternative to the Big Tech social media companies.

Welcome to Vivaldi and the Fediverse, enjoy@Catweazle, thank you. Back then I used Twitter to get updates for local news and businesses. Twitter was way quicker telling there were problems with the public transport than any other sources
