I said this the other day: We need to do away with the idea of Money = Merit.
This is pretty urgent, if "urgent" meant "several generations overdue" - because it's literally the thing that brought Americans MAGA & the UK Boris Johnson & as we speak, worthless idiots have way too much influence everywhere in the world simply because they're rich.
It's fucking embarrassing, it's wildly destructive & it needs to stop.
