10 minutes ago I was alone in the DB longue. Mostly use them for good bathrooms. No vegan food anyway. Apple juice is nice. It is non-carbonated, not mixed with sparkling water, a rarity in Germany.
I bought a discounted ticket and used my Bahn Bonus points to upgrade to first class. Quiet coach, of course. Let's see if it really is quiet.

So much for the stereotypical German rule following. However I managed to remind the lovely couple sitting behind me that this is a quiet coach - in German. The guy started yelling but the woman shut him up.

Hamburg vegan festival is only 1 day per year, and everyone has to go there today + it's next to Reeperbahn. Terrible crowds, long parallel lines for different food trucks... Marla&Matilda Spaghetti Eis tasty as always

Scandinavia has no proper drugstores and I had to stock up in DM in Hamburg. In Scandinavia there are pharmacies selling expensive cosmetics, Sephora, supermarket's own brand toiletries (a hit and miss) and a dollar store / drugstore combo which sells cheaply whatever toiletry surpluses it manages to obtain around Europe, called Normal. Normal is cheap, looks cheap, full of loud teenagers trying on makeup, designed so that you have to pass through the entire shop (like Ikea). Some products are OK, but it is always a lottery. I once ended up with half a litre of almond body lotion because it was the cheapest vegan body lotion per ml, but it smelled badly, with a hint of cyanide... And I made myself use it even after returning to the proper drugstore area. Normal in Denmark sometimes has Irn Bru
and some trinkets are OK. -

Had to remind 4 Americans (judging by the accent) that they're supposed to be silent in the silent compartment (of the Öresundståg). Poor guys, they don't have trains in their country, how would they know (besides the inscriptions in English on the back of every seat)?! But if they want asylum in Europe they're gonna have to learn to behave!

This is all of Malmö I'm going to see today. Hope I have some time for it on the way back. Would be nice if I could get there during the Malmö festival, but I doubt it. Last 2 summers I ended up in Malmö during the festival without being aware that there would be a festival.

Yes I am listening to something, yes I do have the noise cancellation at the maximum. I try to stay close to the railway stations because I'm carrying 25 kg, but this is ridiculous, I am basically staying on Platform 1.
