12:56 PM · May 19, 2026"Yesterday, GPD and GFD were dispatched to Grapevine Lake, where a Tesla Cybertruck was stranded in the water. The driver drove into the lake to use the 'Wade Mode' feature when the vehicle became disabled. The passengers abandoned the vehicle and the driver was arrested."
@_L1vY_ Every story like this makes me realize that the target audience for the Cybertruck was very stupid people. And it seems to have worked.

@liquor_american As I understand it the wrecker truck use costs like $10K, presumably he'll be getting some kind of bill!

I've never heard of wade mode, but given how the driver has proven his IQ by purchasing one of these things, I'm not surprised by the result. -
