(so does Adam BTW - if you read his sort-of autobiography "Every Tool's a Hammer", he credits exactly two people by name; his father & Jamie)

@jwcph learning about their relationship (which is almost completely professional, to this day) helped me come to terms with the realities of working with people who you may not like.
I don’t know that I ever liked Jamie that much, but I always respected him, and living with that nuance has, I think, really helped me even in every day life.
It’s a lesson that has stuck with me for decades.
(Btw that book was excellent, if anyone is looking for a second recommendation)

@b4ux1t3 I absolutely agree - their example of working together & being professionals in mutual respect, building on each others' strengths etc., even if you don't have warm feelings or friendship with each other, has been very educational for me, too
