Goat babies are just as insistent as human babies! (But a lot more mobile ~3 hours after birth)
@sundogplanets it's funny how much of the animal kingdom comes with such an effective initial firmware load, yet humans are little lumps of uselessness until we've had a ridiculously long training routine.

New babies all set for the night.
How much I have to reshuffle the goats tonight will depend on who has babies. Maybe none of the other 4 mamas who were due today will have babies until tomorrow? That would make things a lot easier... (I thought I had another heat lamp, but I guess the only extra one I have is over the ducklings that I impulse-bought the other day. Oops.)
@sundogplanets If only I could be tempted to impulse buy a duckling when I go shopping.
The goats will be fine! You need to get some sleep.

the two little ones seem to have very different voices. is it normal that one is so low and the other so high? or are they "saying" something different and the sound of the voices would change if they say something different?
