To make my calendar.txt usable on my #mudita Kompakt phone, I’m looking for an #android app:
- which would open txt files when you click on them
- allows me to edit/search
- automatically do a search when starting
- is free software installable through f-droidhttps://ploum.net/2025-09-03-calendar-txt.html
The best candidate is Markor, which is really good but:
- has a bit too much features for me
- is too complex for me to modify (I tried)https://github.com/gsantner/markor/issues/2646
Or maybe I could offer a bounty for that bug?

@ploum #squircle is my favourite #opensource #android text editor: unbloated but nice convenience features, like reopening same files in same place, which is essential on low-memory phone, where the background apps are always killed.
