Four (
) stars."@Natasha_Jay Did not read review. Too busy dying.

@Natasha_Jay yes, and it is a movie, not a reality. In reality, smart persons are mostly ignored regardless of sex.
@OndrejZizka @Natasha_Jay thanks for bringing up the plight of white men, famously known for being ignored by government and industry

@Natasha_Jay Looks like a cat, but it's actually a Flerken
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_alien_races_in_Marvel_Comics#FOooh, thanks for the reminder! I'd really like to have one to travel with, you know. The Luggage ist a bit clumsy and tends to get on my nerves, even if it is made from sapient pearwood.

@Natasha_Jay I would have said that was Aliens.
I always thought Ripley got a bit lucky in Alien.
Made entry of her own luck too.@tjbutt58 @Natasha_Jay She made a bunch of smart decisions, particularly early in Alien.
Ripley: Wait a minute. If we let it in, the ship could be infected. You know the quarantine procedure. Twenty-four hours for decontamination.
Dallas: He could die in twenty-four hours. Open the hatch.
Ripley: Listen to me, if we break quarantine, we could all die. -
Yeah I don't think the franchise ever followed up about the cat. Was he also frozen for 50 years? How is he doing now?
@Phosphenes @tbgosalvez @Natasha_Jay At the end of Alien, Jones the cat was in the hypersleep pod with Ripley. He shows up at the beginning of Aliens, then is left on the station when she and the marines go to LV-426.

@rey @Natasha_Jay By which government? By the EU government, led by a woman? Or by the former US govt which nominated a woman for president, twice? One of them black? Or Switzerland which had a kind of female president already? Or Russia who has a female head of the national bank? Or by Ukraine who had a female prime minister? Or by the UK which had a queen for decades and several female prime ministers? Or EU central bank which has a female president? Or Germany which had a female chancellor?

@OndrejZizka @rey @Natasha_Jay Some people are just tired of useless "but men also" answers.
