Once you look down and start seeing all the bugs among the foliage, it's hard to stand up out of fear of stepping on one
Also admiring a very happy corgi galavanting around, is there anything that brings more joy than a very round corgi butt wiggling around

Finally stood up only to see that unbeknownst to me, a green guy had snuck into my chair and was under my butt the whole time lol
(It was unharmed by my butt, moved it back to the ground to keep on truckin)

Watching inchworms move along is so hypnotic
I wonder if these are the same two good guys who keep showing up like regulars, or if this is a hotspot for inchworms lol
Possibly the latter since we found another inchworm, but this one's pink/brown

TIL "inchworm" has the Japanese equivalent シャクトリムシ shakutorimushi
Shaku 尺 is a unit of measurement, so something like "measuring bug", except that shaku is ~30cm. Which makes me imagine huge ass caterpillars
